With a focus on positive energy and bringing sunshine to the storm, Primed 2 Fight Foundation provides support which will improve the quality of life for patients, caregivers, and their families while fighting cancer.
Cancer treatment is intense. Patients often have to make multiple trips to the clinic and many times endure long hospital stays over the course of treatment. They never know how they are going to feel day to day, sometimes minute to minute. They crave the normal they knew prior to their diagnosis. And sadly, some patients have no one around to be with them during this difficult time.
Primed 2 Fight's mission is to spread joy to CANCER WARRIORS! Our YOU GOT THIS! Encouragement Bags help lift their spirits, put a smile on their face, take the focus off of cancer and make their time in the clinic, in the hospital and their fight a little easier.
YOU GOT THIS! bags are filled with snacks and are delivered to cancer clinics and hospitals. Each bag has a themed sticker and the snacks vary each month. Bags are packed by volunteers who distribute them to a participating location near them.
"A nice surprise at the clinic today!! Made my day a little brighter!
Thank you!"
"Thank you for thinking of us during a difficult process in life. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Such wonderful snacks to munch on during infusion."
" I just wanted to say how thankful I am for your delicious goodie bags. Whenever I see them at the BMTGA clinic I get so excited! They make the clinic day go by a little faster; the sweet treats and snacks are just what I need. Thank you so much!"
With each round of chemo, our founder, Geoff Pastrick, would receive a Chemo Goodie Bag from his sister, Stephanie . It was full of his favorite treats as well as things that would help make chemo a little easier. The bags gave him something fun and happy to look forward to and he loved looking through the bag to see what each round would bring! Each goodie bag would encourage him to stay strong, to keep fighting and provided joy and a little sunshine during the storm. Most of all, it served as a reminder that YOU GOT THIS!
